My Story

I was the good girl. I did everything right. I got good grades. I went to the best university in Canada, I graduated with Honours, I got a job right away, I started making money, I was the best in that job and got promoted to make more money. And then the opportunity to work at Salesforce came up and the good girl inside me knew that if I could work there, I’d get the love and acceptance I’d always been searching for.

And so I did the unthinkable, I got hired at Salesforce without being referred. I put on a show in my interviews and I got the job. I was on top of the achievement world.

The journey at Salesforce was full of highs and lows. As I continued progressing my career and achieving more and more as I rose in the ranks, something was off. I couldn’t understand why despite having so many achievements I wasn’t happy. From everything that I had been told in my life growing up, I should be happy. I have it all: great job, at a great company, great money…what gives?

The truth was that I wasn’t listening to myself. Working with a coach for 8 years and seeing success after success made me so sure that I would be a coach myself one day. I knew wholeheartedly that being a coach was most fulfilling for me, and yet I was too afraid to take the leap and do it. Leaving behind what I knew for the unknown was a hard pill to swallow.

In the depths of the pandemic, after countless months locked down, I came across the Jim Carrey commencement speech. What he said changed everything for me:

“My father could have been a great comedian, but he didn’t believe that that was possible for him. And so he made a conservative choice. Instead, he got a safe job as an accountant. And when I was 12 years old, he was let go from that safe job and our family had to do whatever we could survive. I learned many great lessons from my father, not the least of which was that you can fail at what you don’t want so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.”

I knew what I had to do. I’d ignored myself for too long. In March 2021, I quit my cushy corporate role and started Alli Rizacos Coaching Inc.

Over the past 3 years, I’ve worked with and coached 100’s of high-achieving tech leaders and built a thriving 6 figure coaching business, all while traveling to sunny destinations and avoiding winter at all costs.

And I did it ALL using LinkedIn. So I took the playbook that I used to scale to nearly $1M in revenue and turned it into a 3 Month Accelerator so that you can actually leave the corporate world to have more freedom, more money and do work that you actually love.
